Wanda Goodin Obituary

Wanda Lucille Goodin, 76, of Foley, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at SSM Hospital St. Joseph in St. Charles, Missouri. She was born on March 30, 1949, in Springfield, Illinois, and was the daughter of Samuel and Helen Lucille (Crowe) Fishburn. Wanda was united in marriage to Brad Goodin on March 17, 1969, and together they had one son and one daughter.

She spent most of her adult life living in Arizona, California and Hawaii. For several years, Wanda worked as a Data Analyst managing Aircraft Maintenance and Pilot Training records for the Naval Air Systems Command. She was a dedicated member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary in California for many years. Wanda was a very talented oil painter. She enjoyed working on her arts and crafts and gifting them to family and friends. Wanda loved spending time caring for her flowers. She valued the time she spent with Brad traveling throughout the country. Wanda was very energetic and loved to converse with anyone. She enjoyed life to the fullest and lived life to laugh.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband, Brad Goodin of Foley, MO; three sisters and one brother: Betty Smith, Millie Garren, Pat McLean and Curtis Fishburn all reside in Illinois; five grandchildren: Maile Goodin of Aiea Heights Hawaii, Francisco Clark of Chester Virginia, Hunter Goodin of Sab Antonio Texas, Shaylen Strohman of Alamogordo New Mexico and Maximus Goodin of St. Louis Missouri; three great-grandchildren: Kambri Rae Strohman, Maka’ala and Mahie Pauole; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Samuel and Helen Lucille Fishburn; one son, Aaron Goodin; one daughter, Sasha Gardner; one brother, Robert Fishburn and one sister, Linda Becker.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 10 am at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Auburn. Burial will follow at Brush Creek Cemetery in Divernon.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
